Comments: Knee replacement operation was not as painful as had been expecting. Felt more unwell from the anesthetic and taking painkillers than from the actual knee which feels somewhat strange even now (8 weeks later) but I am able to walk a mile or two without aids and mostly without pain. I felt the hydrotherapy pool provided an excellent start to exercising and intend to keep up physiotherapy for as long as possible. Mr Biring was excellent - very attentive, calling into the hospital every day to ascertain my progress. I was also very impressed with the Anesthetist, as I was somewhat concerned about the anesthetic, but he was very reassuring. Patient Seen for Knee Replacement.
